...Gusty northwest winds this afternoon...

Expect northwest wind gusts as high as 40 to 45 mph through this
afternoon under the tight pressure gradient between low pressure
moving through Ontario and high pressure in the Plains. Although
there will be little additional snow, the gusty winds will cause
some blowing snow and locally reduced visibilities in open areas.
The strong winds will diminish late this afternoon into early
evening as the high pressure to the west slowly approaches.

The gusty winds may break tree limbs and cause sporadic power
outages.
