...RAIN TRANSITIONING TO A COUPLE INCHES OF WET SNOW THIS EVENING
AND TONIGHT...

RAIN WILL MOVE IN FROM THE WEST AND CROSS THE AREA THIS EVENING INTO
TONIGHT. THE RAIN WILL QUICKLY TRANSITION TO SNOW NORTH OF A LINE
FROM IRON MOUNTAIN TO ROCK TO NEWBERRY...AND MORE SLOWLY TRANSITION
TO SNOW SOUTH OF THIS LINE.

EXPECT 1 TO 2 INCHES OF WET SNOW TO FALL OVER A 3 TO 4 HOUR PERIOD
IN AREAS CLOSER TO LAKE SUPERIOR...MAKING FOR SLIPPERY CONDITIONS AND
DECREASED VISIBILITIES. TEMPERATURES WILL FALL INTO THE LOW TO MID
20S TONIGHT...CAUSING SLUSHY SNOW AND WATER ON UNTREATED ROADS TO
FREEZE.

USE CAUTION IF TRAVELING THIS EVENING INTO SATURDAY MORNING DUE TO
THE FALLING SNOW AND UNTREATED ROADS BECOMING ICY.
