This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for west central Minnesota,
central South Dakota, north central South Dakota and northeast
South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible late tonight across central
South Dakota. The is a marginal risk (level 1 of 5) for severe
weather across central South Dakota for late tonight. The main
threats will be hail and strong winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Numerous showers and thunderstorms will be possible Wednesday through
midday Thursday. A marginal risk (level 1 of 5) for severe weather
has been posted for most of central and northeast South Dakota and
west central Minnesota. The main threats will be hail and strong
winds in addition to locally heavy rainfall.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected today, however weather spotters
are encouraged to submit reports to the National Weather Service in
Aberdeen. The public can submit reports on our web page, Facebook
page, or our X feed.
