...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN BRAZOS...WESTERN
HOUSTON...MADISON AND NORTHWESTERN WALKER COUNTIES THROUGH 345 AM
CDT...

At 254 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles northeast of Buffalo to 10 miles
southeast of Camp Creek Lake. Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Crockett, Madisonville, Austonio, Grapeland, Latexo, Normangee, Mound
City, and North Zulch.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
