HEAT INDICES MAY RANGE FROM 95 TO 100 DEGREES THIS AFTERNOON
ACROSS WESTERN MINNESOTA.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

AN EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING IS IN EFFECT MONDAY AND MONDAY EVENING
FOR THE TWIN CITIES METRO WITH A HEAT ADVISORY ACROSS THE
REMAINDER OF MINNESOTA AND FAR WESTERN WISCONSIN. HEAT INDICES
WILL RANGE FROM 100 TO 110 DEGREES.

THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS MONDAY NIGHT ACROSS
THE ENTIRE OUTLOOK AREA. CHANCES ARE INCREASING THAT A LINE OF
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL PUSH QUICKLY ACROSS THE UPPER MIDWEST
MONDAY EVENING AND EARLY OVERNIGHT. WIND DAMAGE IS THE MAIN
THREAT...AND IT COULD BE WIDESPREAD. VERY HEAVY RAINFALL IS ALSO
POSSIBLE.
