.Discussion...
Another day of fire-sensitive weather conditions on this Sunday
from Greater Orlando and Lake Co. down the Kissimmee Basin as RH
readings fall to 35-40%. Along the coast, a seabreeze forms with
higher RHs expected. Winds will be lighter, NE 5-12 MPH, today.
Southeast winds on Monday (12-17 MPH) will become southwesterly
from Tuesday into Wednesday (15-20 MPH with higher gusts to around
25 MPH). Afternoon min RH values should be remain above critical
thresholds, lowest in the 40-50% range over the interior each
day. A few showers and storms return to the forecast late Monday,
persisting into midweek. However, temperatures will become very
hot again by Tuesday with widespread 90s.
Fog potential and other remarks... patchy fog is expected this
morning, particularly for the Treasure Coast and Volusia County.
Localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or existing
fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
