...SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT...

At 318 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking showers and thunderstorms
along a line extending from near Spencer to near New Rome to near
Baraboo. The showers and thunderstorms were moving to the northeast
at 45 mph.

Some of the stronger storms may produce gusty winds to around 30
mph, brief heavy rain and small hail.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Spencer around 320 PM CDT.
  Abbotsford around 335 PM CDT.
  Whiting around 350 PM CDT.
  Stevens Point and Amherst around 355 PM CDT.
  Randolph around 405 PM CDT.
  Redgranite around 415 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Big Eau Pleine
County Park, Moon, Coddington, Fenwood, Kellner, Powers Bluff County
Park, Saxeville, Sherry, Rozellville and Cherokee.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
lead to ponding of water on area roadways.
