...SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW DURING THE MORNING COMMUTE...

AT 6 AM CST...A BAND OF LIGHT SNOW WAS LOCATED IN WESTERN
ILLINOIS AND WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE EAST THIS MORNING. ISOLATED
BANDS OF SNOW WERE ALSO DEVELOPING NEAR AND WEST OF THE QUAD
CITIES. ONLY MINOR ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED THROUGH THE MORNING
COMMUTE...BUT MOTORISTS CAN EXPECT SLICK ROAD CONDITIONS.

STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS ARE GUSTING TO 40 MPH. EXPECT BLOWING SNOW
AND VISIBILITIES LESS THAN A MILE FOR BRIEF PERIODS WITHIN SMALL
AREAS OF ENHANCED SNOW.
