This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Morganton, Valdese, Salem, Drexel, Glen Alpine, Lake James State Park, South Mountains State Park, Lake James, Lake Rhodhiss and Oak Hill. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads. In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route. && LAT...LON 3572 8187 3579 8195 3585 8164 3583 8162 3582 8160 3578 8156 3568 8166 3559 8183 $$ AR
