AREAS OF RAIN SHOWERS AFFECTED MAINLY THE EASTERN HALF OF KANSAS
DURING THE EVENING AND OVERNIGHT...AS AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE
APPROACHED FROM THE WEST. THE PRECIPITATION EXITED FAR SOUTHEAST
KANSAS BEFORE SUNRISE. PREDAWN TEMPERATURES OVER THE EASTERN HALF OF
KANSAS RANGED FROM 20S OVER NORTHERN KANSAS...TO NEAR 40 DEGREES
OVER SOUTHEAST KANSAS

MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES ARE EXPECTED THIS MORNING...WITH INCREASING
CLOUDS THIS AFTERNOON...AS A WEAK DISTURBANCE APPROACHES FROM THE
NORTH. COULD EVEN SEE A FEW RAIN SHOWERS BY LATE AFTERNOON OVER
NEBRASKA AND NORTHERN KANSAS. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE FROM NEAR
50 DEGREES OVER NORTHEAST KANSAS...TO THE 60S OVER WESTERN KANSAS.
RATHER BREEZY NORTHWEST WINDS WILL AFFECT WESTERN KANSAS THIS
AFTERNOON.

THE FAST MOVING DISTURBANCE WILL SPREAD SCATTERED LIGHT RAIN SHOWERS
SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE REGION TONIGHT...EXTENDING FROM SOUTHEAST
NEBRASKA...INTO NORTHEAST KANSAS...AND ACROSS MISSOURI. THE RAIN MAY
EVEN MIX WITH LIGHT SNOW AFTER MIDNIGHT...BUT ACCUMULATIONS ARE NOT
EXPECTED. LOW TEMPERATURES WILL DROP INTO THE 20S AND 30S.
