ITS BEEN A SOGGY SATURDAY AS IT RAINED ALL DAY. INITIAL INDICATIONS
ARE THAT ONE TENTH TO NEARLY ONE HALF INCH WAS MEASURED ACROSS THE
AREA WITH THE GREATER AMOUNTS IN CENTRAL AND SOUTH-CENTRAL KANSAS.
TEMPERATURES HOVERED AROUND 40 WITH SOUTHERLY 10 TO 20 MPH WINDS.

RAIN WILL DAMPEN SPIRITS TONIGHT AS A SOUTHEAST-MOVING COLD FRONT
CROSSES KANSAS VERY LATE TONIGHT. AFTER COLD FRONTAL PASSAGE...WINDS
WILL SHIFT TO THE NORTHWEST AND INCREASE TO BETWEEN 20 AND 30 MPH IN
MOST AREAS. MISSOURI AND OKLAHOMA WOULD BE THE EXCEPTIONS WHERE
SOUTHERLY WINDS UNDER 10 MPH WOULD PREVAIL. THE RAIN WILL CHANGE TO
LIGHT SNOW ACROSS NEBRASKA...NORTHERN KANSAS AND NORTHERN MISSOURI
LATE TONIGHT WITH ACCUMULATIONS RANGING FROM AROUND ONE HALF INCH IN
NORTHERN KANSAS TO AROUND 4 INCHES IN EASTERN NEBRASKA AND NORTHERN
MISSOURI WHERE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORIES ARE IN EFFECT. WITH THE
NORTHEAST TO SOUTHWEST ORIENTED COLD FRONT BISECTING KANSAS A WIDE
RANGE OF LOWS IS FORECAST. TEMPERATURES WILL TUMBLE INTO THE LOWER
20S ACROSS NEBRASKA AND NORTHWEST KANSAS WHILE EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND
SOUTHERN MISSOURI WILL BE CONFINED TO AROUND 40.

A SURFACE LOW WILL DEVELOP OVER THE KANSAS MISSOURI BORDER SUNDAY
MORNING AND SPRINT EAST ACROSS THE MID-MISSISSIPPI VALLEY AROUND
NOON. THE INTENSIFYING CYCLONE WILL CONTINUE TO SPREAD SNOW ACROSS
IOWA...EASTERN KANSAS AND NORTHERN MISSOURI WHERE AROUND AN INCH OF
ADDITIONAL SNOW IS POSSIBLE IN A FEW AREAS SUNDAY AFTERNOON. NORTH
WINDS SUSTAINED FROM 25 TO 35 MPH WILL COMBINE WITH TEMPERATURES OF
20 TO 25 DEGREES TO PRODUCE WIND CHILLS FROM AROUND 10 BELOW IN MUCH
OF NEBRASKA TO AROUND ZERO ACROSS NORTHERN KANSAS. HIGH TEMPERATURES
WILL STILL VARY GREATLY OVER THE REST OF THE REGION...FROM THE UPPER
20S IN CENTRAL KANSAS TO THE LOWER 40S IN MOST OF OKLAHOMA AND
SOUTHERN MISSOURI.
