DURING THE NIGHT AN AREA OF SHOWERS WITH A FEW THUNDERSTORMS MOVED EAST
ACROSS CENTRAL KANSAS. INITIAL ESTIMATES ARE THAT A FEW AREAS MAY HAVE
RECEIVED 0.25 INCH. MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES AND SOUTHEAST 5 TO 15 MPH WINDS
LIMITED TEMPERATURES TO THE MID AND UPPER 50S IN MOST AREAS WHILE PARTS
OF CENTRAL AND NORTH-CENTRAL KANSAS WERE LIMITED TO THE LOWER 60S.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL MARCH SLOWLY EAST ACROSS EASTERN NEBRASKA
AND CENTRAL KANSAS TODAY...BUT WITH AN UPPER-LEVEL TROUGH MOVING SLOWLY
EAST ACROSS THE CENTRAL PLAINS...COVERAGE WILL INCREASE SLIGHTLY TONIGHT
SPREADING INTO WEST AND SOUTHWEST KANSAS. A FEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE
POSSIBLE OVER PRIMARILY NORTHWEST KANSAS WITH HAIL AROUND 1 INCH.

A WIDE RANGE OF HIGH TEMPERATURES IS FORECAST TODAY. WESTERN KANSAS WILL
REACH AROUND 85 WITH EASTERN NEBRASKA AND NORTHERN MISSOURI STRUGGLING
TO REACH 70. LOWS IN THE MID AND UPPER 50S ARE FORECAST TONIGHT. A SOUTH
TO SOUTHEAST 10 TO 20 MPH WIND SHOULD PREVAIL.
