Clear to partly cloudy conditions prevailed across Kansas with some
isolated showers and thunderstorms near the Oklahoma border across
southeast Kansas and other widely scattered storms impacting
portions of northeast Kansas. Early morning temperatures remained in
the 60s.

Strong southerly winds will develop across much of the state today
allowing highs to climb into the upper 90s across much of central
and western Kansas while extreme eastern Kansas only sees highs in
the upper 80s.

Breezy southerly winds will continue across much of eastern Kansas
tonight while a cold front shifts winds to the northwest across
western Kansas. Lows tonight will range from the mid and upper 40s
over northwest Kansas to the low 70s in southeast Kansas.
