HOT AND WINDY CONDITIONS WERE PRESENT ACROSS MUCH OF KANSAS TODAY.
AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES REACHED THE UPPER 90S ACROSS CENTRAL AND
EASTERN KANSAS. STRONG SOUTHERLY FLOW AHEAD OF AN AREA OF LOW
PRESSURE LOCATED IN SOUTHEAST COLORADO...AND AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT
EXTENDING DOWN FROM MINNESOTA...BROUGHT GUSTY CONDITIONS.

TONIGHT...THERE IS A CHANCE FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS NORTHERN
AND CENTRAL KANSAS AS THE COLD FRONT SLOWLY MOVES SOUTHEAST...THESE
STORMS WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE LARGE HAIL...DAMAGING
WINDS...AND AN ISOLATED TORNADO THROUGHOUT THE LATE EVENING AND
OVERNIGHT HOURS. STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS
SOUTHERN KANSAS. OVERNIGHT LOWS AHEAD OF THE COLD FRONT WILL REMAIN
IN THE UPPER 60S TO LOW 70S ACROSS MUCH OF CENTRAL AND EASTERN
KANSAS.

MONDAY...THERE IS A CHANCE FOR STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS
SOUTH CENTRAL AND EASTERN KANSAS...STORMS WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO
PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS AND ISOLATED LARGE HAIL AS THE COLD FRONT
CONTINUES TO MOVE SOUTHEAST. BEHIND THE COLD FRONT...WINDS ACROSS
MUCH OF WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS WILL BE OUT OF THE NORTH
AND GUSTY AT TIMES...KEEPING AFTERNOON HIGHS IN THE LOW TO MID 80S.
AHEAD OF THE COLD FRONT...WINDS ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL AND EASTERN
KANSAS WILL REMAIN OUT OF THE SOUTH...KEEPING TEMPERATURES IN THE
LOW 90S.
