COLD AND TRANQUIL WEATHER CONDITIONS PREVAILED ACROSS CENTRAL AND
EASTERN KANSAS LAST NIGHT. PREDAWN TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE TEENS
AND 20S WITH LIGHT AND VARIABLE WINDS AND OVERCAST SKIES.

SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE EASTWARD INTO THE OHIO
VALLEY REGION...WITH SOUTHERLY WINDS RETURNING TO THE HEARTLAND AND
INCREASING TODAY. THE SOUTH WINDS WILL ALSO USHER HIGHER MOISTURE
INTO KANSAS WHICH COULD GIVE WAY TO PERIODS OF DRIZZLE LATER THIS
AFTERNOON. DAYTIME HIGHS WILL BE IN THE 30S AND 40S WITH MOSTLY
CLOUDY SKIES.

SURFACE LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE EASTWARD ACROSS NORTHERN KANSAS AND
SOUTHERN NEBRASKA TONIGHT...WITH A STRONG COLD FRONT SURGING
SOUTHWARD OVER WESTERN NEBRASKA. MEANWHILE...AREAS OF DRIZZLE OR
LIGHT RAIN WILL CONTINUE OVER EASTERN KANSAS AND MISSOURI TONIGHT. A
FEW LOCATIONS THAT STAY AT OR BELOW FREEZING WOULD EXPERIENCE
FREEZING DRIZZLE. OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL RANGE FROM THE TEENS IN THE
NEBRASKA PANHANDLE TO THE MID 30S OVER CENTRAL OKLAHOMA.
