QUIET WEATHER CONDITIONS PREVAILED ACROSS CENTRAL AND EASTERN KANSAS
THIS AFTERNOON...WITH AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES IN THE 80S AND
SOUTHEAST WINDS OF 10 TO 15 MPH.

LINGERING SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL AFFECT EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND
PORTIONS OF ARKANSAS TONIGHT...WITH DRY WEATHER EXPECTED ELSEWHERE
ACROSS THE CENTRAL PLAINS. OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL BE IN THE 60S AND 70S
OVER THE REGION.

A FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL DROP SOUTHWARD ACROSS THE HEARTLAND ON
FRIDAY...WITH SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE OVER NORTHERN
NEBRASKA AND IOWA. DAYTIME HIGHS WILL RANGE FROM THE 80S IN NORTHERN
NEBRASKA...TO THE HOT MID AND UPPER 90S ACROSS KANSAS AND OKLAHOMA.
