...FIRST ACCUMULATING SNOW OF THE SEASON EXPECTED LATE TONIGHT AND
SUNDAY...

A STORM SYSTEM WILL BEGIN TO SPREAD SNOW INTO CENTRAL ILLINOIS
AFTER MIDNIGHT...AND WILL BE MOST WIDESPREAD SUNDAY MORNING. BY
MIDDAY...WARMER AIR WILL BEGIN TO CAUSE THE SNOW TO MIX WITH
RAIN...WHICH WILL LINGER INTO THE AFTERNOON BEFORE ENDING FROM THE
WEST.

AT THE PRESENT TIME...ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES ARE EXPECTED
IN AREAS FROM MACOMB TO BLOOMINGTON...NORTHWARD THROUGH PEORIA.
LOCATIONS AROUND GALESBURG AND TOULON ARE LIKELY TO SEE 2 TO 3
INCHES OF SNOW. MUCH OF THE SNOW WILL BE CONFINED TO GRASSY
AREAS...BUT SOME SLUSHY ACCUMULATIONS ARE POSSIBLE ON AREA
ROADWAYS WHERE THE HEAVIER SNOW FALLS.

PEOPLE PLANNING ON ANY TRAVEL SUNDAY MORNING SHOULD SLOW DOWN
WHILE DRIVING...AS THE SNOW WILL LIMIT VISIBILITIES AT TIMES AND
MAY CAUSE SLIPPERY TRAVEL CONDITIONS ON LESS TRAVELED ROADS.
