...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN BLADEN...CENTRAL
BRUNSWICK AND NORTHEASTERN COLUMBUS COUNTIES THROUGH 530 PM EDT...

At 453 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Honey Island, or 17 miles west of Leland, moving southwest at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lake Waccamaw, Makatoka, Hallsboro, Freeman, Honey Island, Redbug,
Exum, Crusoe Island, Brunswick, and Bolton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
