showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain generally east of a
line from Bartlesville to McAlester. Thunderstorms with locally
heavy rain were located in Ottawa and Delaware counties in Oklahoma
and Benton county in Arkansas. The precipitation was in the Tulsa
and Bentonville, Rogers and Fayetteville areas. Movement was to the
east at around 30 mph. The average amount where it rained last hour
was around one tenth of an inch with maximum amounts of an inch to
an inch and a half. Coverage and intensity decreased during the last
hour. The Tulsa area forecast for this morning, mostly cloudy,
occasional showers and a chance of thunderstorms with temperatures
59 to 69 degrees and south winds up to 10 mph.
