MONTGOMERY AND WESTERN MENIFEE COUNTIES UNTIL 1100 PM EDT...

AT 922 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL HAVING MOVED ACROSS THE
ADVISORY AREA WITH ONGOING FLOODING. ANOTHER SET OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAINFALL ARE ALSO GETTING READY TO MOVE
BACK INTO THE ADVISORY AREA. MUCH OF THE ADVISORY AREA HAS BEEN
UPGRADED TO A FLASH FLOOD WARNING AT THIS TIME.

RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING TO
OCCUR. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
FRENCHBURG...MOUNT STERLING...STANTON...BEAN...BOWEN...CAMARGO...CAT
CREEK...CEDAR GROVES...CLAY CITY...CLAY LICK...COONS STATION...
CORNWELL...FAGAN...GATEWOODS STATION...GRASSY LICK...HAYSTACK...
HOPE...HOWARDS MILL...JEFFERSONVILLE...KLONDIKE...KNOWLTON...LEVEE...
LOMBARD...LOWER SPENCER...LUCKY STOP...MEANS...NADA...OGGS STATION...
PILOT AND POWELL VALLEY.

THERE ARE SEVERAL REPORTS OF FLOODING IN WESTERN ESTILL
COUNTY...INCLUDING REPORTS OF 4 FEET OF WATER FLOWING ACROSS
COBBHILL AND FITCHBURG ROAD. RAIN HAS ALSO WASHED OUT A SECTION OF
THE ROAD ON PITTS ROAD...AND CAUSED A ROCK SLIDE ON TICKY FORK
ROAD...MAKING BOTH ROADS IMPASSABLE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS
AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...NORMALLY DRY WASHES...AS WELL AS
FARMLAND ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING. IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY. DO NOT
ENTER THE WATER. TURN AROUND AND MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND. DO NOT
STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
