Clay City, Stanton, Frenchburg, Brodhead, Mount Vernon, McKee,
Annville, Burnside, Somerset, London, Monticello, Stearns,
Whitley City, Corbin, Williamsburg, Barbourville, Middlesboro,
Pineville, Cumberland, Harlan, Sandy Hook, West Liberty,
Paintsville, Campton, Salyersville, Prestonsburg, Wheelwright,
Beattyville, Jackson, Hindman, Pippa Passes, Booneville, Hazard,
Manchester, Hyden, Jenkins, Whitesburg, Inez, Coal Run,

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of eastern Kentucky.

.DAY ONE...This evening and Tonight.

An isolated thunderstorm is possible through early this evening.

Temperatures will peak in the upper 80s to low 90s through early
evening and combine with high humidity levels for heat indices
peaking near 100 degrees.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Temperatures on Friday are expected to reach the low 90s in the
afternoon, which with added humidity, will cause heat indices
to peak just over 100 degrees.

Temperatures will reach the upper 80s to low 90s on Saturday and
combine with high humidity levels for heat indices to peak around
100 degrees.

Thunderstorms will be possible at times Friday through Monday. A
few strong storms may occur, with strong winds and heavy rain
being the main impacts.


Spotter activation is not anticipated.
