...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT MONTGOMERY...BATH...FLEMING AND
ROWAN COUNTIES THROUGH 300 AM EDT...

At 215 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms and winds north of Flemingsburg, moving south at 40
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Mount Sterling, Morehead, Flemingsburg, Owingsville, Marshall,
Jeffersonville, Camargo, Sharpsburg, Salt Lick, Fairview, Pecks
Ridge, Elliottville, Christy, Hilda, Bourbon Furnace, Pebble, Bangor,
Muses Mills, Wallingford, and Olympia.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 AM EDT for east central
Kentucky.
