For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 30.3 inch ridge crossing the Upper Great Lakes
this evening will slide eastward ahead of a 29.6 inch trough that
will reach the Upper Great Lakes Friday night. The trough will
move eastward through the weekend, merging with a stronger trough
that will race across the central plains. This low will strengthen
to around 29.0 inches across the Eastern Great Lakes Saturday
night. A 30.2 inch high drops southeast across the Northern and
Central Plains Saturday and Sunday, extending a 30 inch ridge just
south of Lake Superior into Sunday night. Then a 29.3 inch trough
will move through Alberta and Saskatchewan towards the Upper
Great Lakes on Monday evening, reaching Southern Quebec Tuesday
night.
