...Some Patchy Dense Fog and Slippery Roads This Evening...

Expect patchy dense fog, especially over the higher terrain to the
north of Atlantic Mine, to linger this evening and reduce
visibility to under one quarter mile at times. There may also be
some light snow, mainly over the north half of Keweenaw County.
The combination of the reduced visibility associated with the fog
and falling snow as well as lingering slippery spots on area
roads will make for hazardous travel at times. Although the fog
will tend to dissipate later tonight as winds shift to the west
following a cold frontal passage, more light snow is likely to
develop.

If you must drive tonight, allow extra time to reach your
destination and increase your following distance while driving.
