A band of moderate to heavy lake effect snow continues to move inland
this morning and will mainly impact locations in the northeast
portions of Marquette County and much of Alger County, especially
along M-28. Snowfall rates could approach 1 to 2 inches per hour,
leading to reduced visibilities at times and slippery conditions.
Allow for extra travel time this morning. If traveling, remember
to travel at appropriate speeds for conditions and allow for a
longer stopping distance.
