This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Southwest North
Carolina...East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
A low pressure system will track through the region today into
tonight, bringing a cold front through our area today. Much colder
air will push in behind the front later today and tonight. Rain
will mix with sleet, snow or freezing rain this evening before
transitioning to all snow and then diminishing later tonight. Some
light accumulations of snow and ice will be possible, especially
across the higher elevation areas of the Cumberland Plateau,
Southwest Virginia, and the mountains of East Tennessee.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.


Spotter activation is not expected.
