...Mixed Precipitation Likely Across Northern New York Tonight...

At 555 PM EST National Weather Service radar and surface
observations indicated precipitation moving into northern New York
initially as snow. Over the next couple of hours, warmer air
moving in aloft will change precipitation to a mix of snow, sleet,
and freezing rain, lasting through midnight before a changeover
to a rain and snow mix. A light glazing of ice is possible along
with a dusting to perhaps 2 inches of snow and sleet through early
Wednesday morning.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Conditions will likely deteriorate rapidly in this winter weather
situation. Be prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down
and allow extra time when traveling.
