If there are questions or concerns with this forecast, or if conditions become unrepresentative, contact the National Weather Service in Duluth at 218-729-0653. .DISCUSSION... Another dry day today. Skies will be mostly sunny this morning, though some partly cloudy skies arrive by early afternoon and clouds increase late afternoon into tonight. Mixing heights start out around 2100 ft and rise to 5600 ft this afternoon. High pressure over southern Canada will keep winds lighter, turning southeasterly at 5-7 mph with gusts to 8-12 mph. High temperatures rise into the upper 60s, with min RH values dropping to around 30%, though could see RH dip into the mid to upper 20s if mixing is deeper this afternoon than expected. Smoke dispersal will be poor to fair to start, and improve to good by early afternoon. Slight chance of very light rain showers late overnight into early Wednesday morning. Otherwise, expect rain chances to increase starting early Wednesday afternoon and persist into at least Thursday morning. Because of the rain, late morning and afternoon min RH drops to the 45-50% range, though mixing heights only reaching around 2900 ft. .REST OF TODAY...
