Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue across most the
South Plains and Rolling Plains through 6 pm. These slow-moving
storms will be capable of producing locally heavy downpours which
may cause ponding of water on area roadways. In addition these
storms will be capable of producing wind gusts up to 45 mph and
frequent cloud to ground lightning.
