Lower Elevations-
1237 PM MDT THU APR 27 2017

At 1233 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of showers and a
few thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles northeast of
Hiland to near Gas Hills. Movement was east at 15 mph.

Some of these showers may contain brief periods of small hail as
well as local areas of brief heavy snowfall. Winds in excess of 30
mph will be possible with these storms.

These storms will remain over mainly rural areas of central Natrona
County, including Natrona County Airport west of Casper.

Occasional cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle. Anticipate possible slick
roads due to a fast accumulation of hail and snow of an inch or less
in some areas.
