...Periods of light to moderate snow today and tonight over the
northwest...

Light snow will be possible today across the northwest, with only
minor accumulations expected. Scattered to numerous snow showers
will develop this evening and continue through the overnight hours
tonight. 2 to 4 inches of snow are expected above 8500 feet with
locally higher amounts of 6 to 8 inches, especially in the Tetons.
1 to 2 inches will fall in the lower elevations tonight.

...Gusty winds to return tonight into Sunday...

Although winds will subside this evening, they will remain gusty
over the Green Mountains and Rattlesnake Range and increase again
over portions of Natrona County tonight. Southwest winds of 25 to
35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph will occur through the overnight
hours. These winds will spread southward over eastern Sweetwater
County after sunrise Sunday and continue through the rest of the
day. Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible Sunday from the
Green Mountains and Rattlesnake Range to central portions of
Natrona County.
