Coryell TX-Lampasas TX-
938 PM CDT SUN MAR 26 2017

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
  Coryell County in central Texas...
Central Lampasas County in central Texas...

* Until 1245 AM CDT.

* At 938 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms that were
producing heavy rainfall across areas near an Adamsville to
Gatesville to Oglesby line. Excessive runoff from these
thunderstorms will cause small stream flooding. Areas that are low
lying or usually experience poor drainage are most likely to
experience flooding. This means some low water crossings in the
region may become impassable. Up to one inch of rain has already
  fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Adamsville, Gatesville, McGregor, Fort Gates, Mother Neff State
  Park, Oglesby and South Mountain.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
