...Patchy dense fog possible through 1 am CDT...

If you are traveling across Southwest Illinois or along Route 13
in Southern Illinois onward to the Pennyrile region of West
Kentucky, you may run into patches of locally dense fog through 1
am CDT.

Visibilities may drop below a mile at times over short distances.

Be sure to use low beam or fog light should you encounter reduced
visibility due to the fog. Signal any lane changes well enough in
advance so that drivers around you can react in time.

Some improvement will occur as winds pick up from the north across
the area after midnight.
