REGIONAL WEATHER SUMMARY FOR EASTERN KANSAS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WICHITA KS
414 AM CST MON JAN 26 2015

TRANQUIL WEATHER CONDITIONS PREVAILED ACROSS CENTRAL AND EASTERN
KANSAS LAST NIGHT. PREDAWN TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE 20S AND 30S WITH
LIGHT AND VARIABLE WINDS.

MUCH WARMER AIR WILL SPREAD ACROSS THE CENTRAL PLAINS TODAY...AS A
SURFACE TROUGH MOVES EASTWARD ACROSS THE REGION. THIS WILL CAUSE THE
WINDS TO SWITCH FROM THE SOUTHWEST TO THE NORTHWEST. DAYTIME HIGHS
WILL BE WELL ABOVE NORMAL WITH TEMPERATURES IN THE 60S AND LOW 70S.

ONCE AGAIN QUIET WEATHER WILL BE IN STORE FOR THE HEARTLAND TONIGHT
WITH OVERNIGHT LOWS NOT AS COLD. LOWS WILL GENERALLY BE IN THE 30S
WITH CLEAR SKIES ACROSS THE MIDLANDS.
