A COMPLEX OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVED ACROSS WESTERN KANSAS
OVERNIGHT...WITH PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES ELSEWHERE.  OVERNIGHT
TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE UPPER 70S IN EASTERN KANSAS TO THE
MIDDLE 60S IN CENTRAL NEBRASKA.

MOSTLY SUNNY AND HOT CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS MOST OF THE
PLAINS STATES TODAY...AS A WEAK COLD FRONT BEGINS TO DROP SOUTH
ACROSS NEBRASKA INTO NORTHERN KANSAS. THERE IS A CHANCE OF SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS FOR THE LATE AFTERNOON HOURS ACROSS NORTH KANSAS
AND NORTHERN MISSOURI AS THE FRONT DROPS SOUTH INTO KANSAS. THE HOT
AND HUMID CONDITIONS HAVE LED TO HEAT ADVISORIES BEING ISSUED ACROSS
MOST OF KANSAS...OKLAHOMA AND WESTERN MISSOURI...WITH HIGH
TEMPERATURES TODAY RANGING FROM 100 TO 105 ACROSS SOUTHERN KANSAS TO
THE LOWER 90S IN NEBRASKA.

THE CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS
PORTIONS OF KANSAS AND WESTERN MISSOURI TONIGHT...AS THE COLD
FRONTAL BOUNDARY DROPS SOUTH INTO NORTHERN OKLAHOMA. THE REST OF THE
REGION WILL SEE PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES. LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL
RANGE FROM THE MIDDLE 70S IN SOUTHERN KANSAS AND OKLAHOMA TO THE
LOWER 60S IN NEBRASKA.
