A SUNNY QUIET AFTERNOON WITH TEMPERATURES BELOW SEASONAL NORMAL IN
THE MID 80S FOR THE EASTERN HALF OF THE SUNFLOWER STATE.  SOUTHERLY
WINDS WERE ABOUT 10 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 20 MPH.

HIGH PRESSURE WILL ALLOW THE CENTRAL PLAINS TO HAVE A PLEASANT
EVENING FOR SUNSET VIEWING OR NIGHT FOR STAR GAZING WITH MINIMAL
CLOUD COVER. OVERNIGHT LOWS ARE FORECAST TO DROP TO THE 50S FOR THE
EASTERN HALF OF THE PLAINS AND 60S FOR THE WESTERN HALF.

THE MID WEEK IS EXPECTED TO HAVE HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 90S
FOR THE HIGH PLAINS TO THE UPPER 80S TO LOWER 90S ELSEWHERE. WINDS
WILL STAY OUT OF THE SOUTH AT 5 TO 20 MPH WITH THE GUSTIER WINDS FOR
EASTERN COLORADO AND WESTERN KANSAS.
