This hazardous weather outlook is for east central...north
central and northeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and tonight.

Areas of light snow will begin to spread across portions of
north-central, northeast, and east-central Kansas tonight. A
Winter Weather Advisory is in effect beginning at 9 PM CST this
evening for locations along and northeast of a line from
Belleville to Topeka to Ottawa.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Snow is expected to taper off Sunday morning. From tonight into
Sunday morning, total snow accumulations of one to two inches are
expected along and northeast of a line from Belleville to Topeka
to Ottawa, potentially creating hazardous travel conditions. A
Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for these areas until
10 AM CST on Sunday. Lighter snow accumulations are expected
elsewhere.

Another area of snow is expected to spread across the region
Sunday evening into Monday morning, producing an additional one
to two inches of snow. The heaviest snow may occur Monday
morning, potentially creating hazardous travel conditions.

A very cold air mass will spread across the area on Monday and
persist into the middle of the week. Wind chill readings may
become dangerously cold at times. The coldest wind chills are
expected for Monday night into Tuesday morning, with readings
expected to range from around 15 below zero to 25 below zero
across the region. These conditions could cause frostbite in a
short amount time.
