A winter storm is taking aim at the Upper Mississippi River Valley overnight Friday through Saturday, promising several inches of accumulations for parts of the region. Currently, the higher amounts and greater impacts currently lie across northern MN into northern/central WI - focused mostly on the daytime hours of Saturday.
