Heavy Rainfall Threat for Portions of Mid-Atlantic and Northeast; Heat Linger for Southeast and Expands for the West

Moisture and nearby frontal boundary will focus more showers and thunderstorms for portions of the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast today.
