Helene Expected to Bring Catastrophic Winds and Storm Surges to the Northeastern Gulf Coast

Helene is expected to bring life-threatening to catastrophic storm surge and damaging to catastrophic hurricane-force winds to Florida and well inland across the Southeast. Considerable to catastrophic flash and urban flooding is expected in the Southeast and southern Appalachians.
