An Extreme Cold Warning is in effect for northern New York and Vermont this evening through Saturday morning. Dangerously cold wind chills of -20F to -40F are expected. A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for Essex Co, NY and central to southern Vermont starting 1 PM Sunday through 1 AM Tuesday.
