Synopsis: A storm force low will move into the northern gulf this evening and weaken to gale force before moving towards Cook Inlet. A brief break in the weather is expected late Friday into Saturday morning before the next storm force low moves into Hecate Strait and Dixon Entrance during the day on Saturday.

SE wind 30 to 35 kt, with gusts as high as 55 kt. Rain. The rain could be heavy at times. Seas 8 to 9 ft.

SSE wind 20 to 30 kt, with gusts as high as 50 kt. Rain. Seas 8 ft subsiding to 5 ft.
