Synopsis: A gale force low will move to just west of Haida Gwaii through tonight...bringing increased winds and seas to the southern Alaska Panhandle and Dixon Entrance region through tonight. A stronger and larger low pressure system...expected to be at storm force...will move from the north Pacific into the central Gulf of Alaska late Sunday into Monday.

Variable winds 5 kt or less. Rain, mainly before 3pm. Seas around 1 ft.

SE wind 5 to 15 kt increasing to 25 to 35 kt. Winds could gust as high as 45 kt. Rain, mainly after 9pm. The rain could be heavy at times. Seas 1 ft building to 7 ft.

Monday

SE wind 30 to 35 kt decreasing to 20 to 25 kt in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 50 kt. Rain. The rain could be heavy at times. Seas 7 ft subsiding to 4 ft.
