Detailed Forecast

Synopsis: High pressure out in the Gulf is expected to linger through the end of the week into the weekend. Winds moderate to fresh for the outer coastal waters and inner channels through Thursday, will then trend downward into the weekend as the high and pressure gradient weaken. Localized wind shifts due to sea breezes are possible, but overall wind pattern is expected to be northwest. Seas 5 to 7 feet in the outer coastal waters through Thursday will also trend downward into the weekend.

A Marine Weather Statement is in effect for Stephens Passage due to trees and other debris in the waters due to the ongoing Mendenhall River flood.
