- An atmospheric river will push into the panhandle late Thursday night through Friday, bringing rounds of rain with rapidly rising freezing levels across the area. Preparations should begin for an expected rain on snow event going into the weekend:
- Starting on Thursday afternoon, January 8th. NWS Juneau will begin issuing statements to go along with our marine advisories and warnings. There will be no changes to the NOAA Weather Radio broadcast. Read more here.
