Synopsis: A gale force low is transiting the Gulf of Alaska Thursday
afternoon, with northeasterly outflow winds increasing along
major bays and inlets. Winds and seas diminish briefly Friday
before a Storm Force system lifts into the gulf, driving
southeasterly storm force winds along the northern coast, with
strong gales to gale force for the remainder of the coast. Seas
of 20 to 25 ft are forecasted for the northern coast Saturday
into Sunday.

NNE wind around 35 kt, with gusts as high as 45 kt. Widespread freezing spray. Mostly sunny. Seas around 7 ft.
Tonight
ENE wind 30 to 35 kt, with gusts as high as 45 kt. Widespread freezing spray. Mostly clear. Seas 7 to 8 ft.

ENE wind 20 to 25 kt decreasing to 10 to 15 kt in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 35 kt. Widespread freezing spray before noon. Increasing clouds. Seas 6 ft subsiding to 3 ft.
