...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY THROUGH THIS MORNING...

Synopsis: A weakening area of low pressure near Cape Suckling will move NW into Prince William Sound Saturday morning. A gale force low will develop over the north Pacific and move to just west of Haida Gwaii Saturday...bringing increased winds and seas to the southern Alaska Panhandle and Dixon Entrance region early in the weekend. Another stronger area of low pressure...potentially strengthening to storm force...will move from the north Pacific into the central Gulf of Alaska on Monday.

S wind 15 to 20 kt becoming NNW 25 to 30 kt in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 40 kt. Showers likely, mainly before 9am. Seas 3 ft building to 6 ft.

N wind 25 to 30 kt, with gusts as high as 40 kt. A chance of rain after 9pm. Seas 5 to 6 ft.

Sunday

NNE wind 15 to 20 kt becoming SSE 5 to 10 kt in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 30 kt. Rain likely, mainly between 9am and 3pm. Seas 4 ft subsiding to 1 ft.
