...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY THROUGH THIS MORNING...

Synopsis: A weakening area of low pressure near Cape Suckling will move NW into Prince William Sound Saturday morning. A gale force low will develop over the north Pacific and move to just west of Haida Gwaii Saturday...bringing increased winds and seas to the southern Alaska Panhandle and Dixon Entrance region early in the weekend. Another stronger area of low pressure...potentially strengthening to storm force...will move from the north Pacific into the central Gulf of Alaska on Monday.

S wind 10 to 15 kt becoming NNE in the afternoon. A chance of showers before noon. Seas 2 to 4 ft.

Saturday Night

NNE wind 15 to 25 kt, with gusts as high as 35 kt. A chance of rain and snow, mainly between 9pm and 3am. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

Sunday

NE wind 5 to 10 kt becoming variable and less than 5 kt in the afternoon. A chance of rain and snow before noon, then a chance of rain. Seas 1 to 2 ft.
