Relatively dry weather is expected the next few days across the Plains where historic flooding is occurring. A Pacific front will bring heavy rain and mountain snow to the Northwest Friday. For the Northeast, a coastal low will develop Thursday into Friday bringing rain and snow, locally heavy, from the Mid-Atlantic into the Northeast.
