...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL HARLAN COUNTY THROUGH
245 AM EDT...

At 206 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Peepace Store, or 8 miles south of Harlan, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Harlan, Evarts, Wallins Creek, Clovertown, Bobs Creek, Hensley Store,
Mary Alice, Dizney, Chevrolet, Sunshine, Coxton, Short Town,
Kentenia, Kenvir, Darkmont, Highsplint, Elcomb, White Star, Kildav,
and Black Mountain.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
