Clay City, Stanton, Frenchburg, Brodhead, Mount Vernon, McKee,
Annville, Burnside, Somerset, London, Monticello, Stearns,
Whitley City, Corbin, Williamsburg, Barbourville, Sandy Hook,
West Liberty, Paintsville, Campton, Salyersville, Prestonsburg,

...Black Ice Possible Through Early Thursday Morning...

Snow showers will become more isolated in nature through late this
evening before tapering to flurries and ending. Little if any
additional accumulations are expected through late this evening.

However, temperatures are expected to fall into the low to mid
20s tonight. This will likely result in any linger water from
melted snow and slush freezing in some areas result in areas of
black ice. The threat for black ice will be greatest on bridges
and overpasses, walkways, and any untreated, secondary or rural

Those traveling during the morning commute on Thursday should slow
down and allow extra time to reach your destination as black ice
would lead to longer travel times.
