...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT KNOTT...WEST CENTRAL FLOYD...EAST
CENTRAL BREATHITT AND SOUTHEASTERN MAGOFFIN COUNTIES THROUGH 700 PM
EDT...

At 644 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Orchard to Hindman. Movement was south at 20
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hindman, Estill, Pippa Passes, Wayland, Cody, Raven, Fredville,
Bosco, Mousie, Leburn, Hippo, Vail, Handshoe, Carr Creek, Gunlock,
Ordway, Glo, Bearville, Pyramid, and Orchard.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS...
 Kentucky Highway 80 in Floyd County between mile markers 1 and 4.
 Kentucky Highway 80 in Knott County between mile markers 3 and 20.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
