Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
227 AM CDT Sun Jun 23 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns will remain low through the week ahead.
Temperatures will climb above normal, however, light winds, min
RH above critical levels and recent rains will keep widespread
fire weather conditions from developing. Isolated storms over the
Sacramento Foothills and Davis Mountains each afternoon could pose
a risk of fire starts from lightning and gusty, erratic winds.
Overnight recoveries will remain very good to excellent.

Matrix product issued by the Midland/Odessa National Weather
Service Office.
