Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. .SYNOPSIS FOR WASHINGTON AND OREGON WATERS...High pressure will build to the W of the area today and tonight. The high will persist to the W and NW of the waters Sun into Sun night as weakening low pressure passes just S of the waters. High pressure will strengthen to the W of the waters Mon as a low pressure trough develops over SW Oregon. The high will weaken Mon night and Tue as the trough extends N to the Washington coast. The high will drift E towards the area Tue night, then persist W of the waters through Wed night as the trough continues near the coast.
