Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
217 PM MDT Mon Jun 10 2024

.Discussion...

Little to no critical fire weather concerns through the next
several days, thanks to largely green fuels. Active weather will
continue across the district this afternoon, with showers and
thunderstorms ongoing over the mountains, with showers across the
adjacent lower elevations this evening. Excessive rainfall and
localized flash flooding will be the main impact concerns. Storm
chances begin to decrease Tuesday, with a warming and drying trend
setting in for the midweek period. Thursday will be hot, with
near record temperatures possible.

Rain showers and thunderstorms return Friday through Monday, with
the most widespread precipitation across the district on Friday.

Smoke dispersion rates tomorrow will be Good to Very Good across
the district, with Very Good to Excellent rates across the
district Wednesday.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
