...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN QUAY AND
SOUTHEASTERN UNION COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM MDT...

At 403 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Nara Visa, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Nara Visa.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM MDT for
northeastern and east central New Mexico.
