At 1211 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles southwest of McCarthy Beach State Park to 6 miles northwest of Swatara. Movement was northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Hibbing, Grand Rapids, Cohasset, Coleraine, Keewatin, Nashwauk, Hill City, Taconite, Warba, Hill Annex Mine State Park, Pokegama Dam, Gunn, McCarthy Beach State Park, Swatara, Pengilly, Perch Lake, Blackberry, Bovey, Marble, and La Prairie.
