...AN OUTFLOW BOUNDARY APPROACHING THE DISTANT STRAITS OF
FLORIDA WATERS...

The areas affected include...
Straits of Florida from Ocean Reef to Halfmoon Shoal 20 to 60 nm
out...
Straits of Florida from Craig Key to west end of Seven Mile Bridge
out 20 nm...

At 532 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected an
outflow from earlier convection, capable of producing wind gusts
near 30 knots. This outflow was located along a line extending from
17 nm east of Elbow Cay to 56 nm south of Wood`s Wall East Crack,
moving northwest at 20 knots. In addition, this outflow may develop
additional showers and thunderstorms along the leading edge.

Locations that will be affected include...
Marathon Humps, Elbow Cay, and Floyd`s Wall Southwest.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare for thunderstorms with wind gusts near 30 knots, locally
rough and confused seas, occasional lightning strikes, and
potentially blinding downpours. Get to a safe port as quickly, and as
safely as possible. When downpours reduce visibility, slow down.
