Conditions given represent the highest within that period. Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms. The National Weather Service is accepting public comments until July 29 2024 on a proposal to replace feet with meters when describing seas in a variety of National Marine Center text and graphical products for the Offshore and High Seas Areas only. The high pressure area will drift E across the waters tonight, then shift E of the waters Sat. A warm front will quickly lift NE across the area Sat night into early Sun. Another cold front will approach the waters from the NW late Sun and move across the waters Sun night into early Mon. It will then become stationary S and E of the waters Mon night and Tue. Weak low pressure will develop along the front late Mon, then move NE along the front Mon night before stalling near 42N62W Tue. The low will then drift back S Tue night, remaining E of the waters, while high pressure builds SE across the waters.
